Gifts

Everyone has particular talents or gifts that make them who they are.  When we understand what our giftedness is, we are half-way home in the success phenomena.  Those who struggle to find their groove waste time and resources, developing themselves into the best they can be.  Self- analysis is as old as time itself.  The bible described the Gifts of the Spirit that were temporal and spiritual.  The Greeks and Romans identified talents they considered crucial to the human psyche, and Shakespeare advised: “To Thine Own Self be True!”  Do you know what separates you from another in the marketplace?

Discovering what we are good at is often done through school and extra-curricular activities.  Little people between ages five and eight are said to display differentiating and unique identities.  Their souls are already providing them with genius that will carry them into careers.  I organized a Retail store in my mom’s basement and directed plays for the neighborhood kids before I was seven.  Do you see in your childhood the aptitudes that have brought you fame and fortune today?   Some people struggle because they can’t identify their faculties that set them apart.  It can be confusing and frustrating to stumble along without knowing what you are on this earth to do. 

During this year of isolation, many have used the time to dig deeper.  As we near the end of 2020, are you positioned to use YOUR gifts to make 2021 your best year ever?   Have you identified your strengths and where you need a partner to help round out your company or relationships?  Finding a balance of power provides a combination that will win in almost any situation.  However, you can only do that with an accurate read on who YOU are and an open and honest partner who can share the load!  Very few of us can do it all on our own because, let’s face it, no one is perfect and has everything in the talent spectrum. 

Analyze yourself honestly and excel at the things you are great at doing.  Pair up or gather a bigger team to achieve your BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS GOALS.  I look forward to reading about your achievements!
